updating

I salute all of you who update everyday. It is hard to do - to be committed. I do it most days but sometimes it seems there is just too much going on to take the time to post something here. It does take time. But I think it is time well spent. I enjoy wrapping my life up, wrapping my days up - to see what stands out to me that I want to remember. ( Read more... )

I don't think I have ever seen a porcupine up close, and I was as surprised as Nancy to learn that they don't shoot their quills out at you.

I guess they will flail and hit you with their tail - that would be bad. But you can be quite close with no danger. On the ground they are very slow and waddle when they walk.

I used to post every day - haven't lately due to illness and the weather.

Happy birthday to Hazel!

I wonder of there was a padlock in that pipe? As long as you were able to get Nancy through.

I'm sorry you have been not feeling well lately. I can understand not having the energy to post. It takes an effort to find the time to sit down and write.

Thanks!

I think there must be a padlock somewhere inside but I couldn't find it. Yes, bikes and wheelchairs can get through - the gate is to stop cars and trucks.

Stopping cars and trucks is good.

I'm sure I'll pick up when the weather improves.

I love the little fawn and bunny.

That picture of Hazel is beautiful. I love her natural look. What is that background? It's striking!

That's funny about Nancy and the porcupine and the smelly plant. I would have thought Carrion, too. Isn't Black Cohosh for hot flashes?

I really like Hazel's look too. That is a piece of cloth that I got from Deb many years ago. I used it in my goatshed and to make a curtain for the window behind the table in the kitchen next door when we were living there. I really liked it a lot.

Yes, I guess it is used for hot flashes and female problems.
