Had a strange dream this morning. Dreamed that I was breast feeding a little puppy dog that reminded me of Andy. People thought it was weird but I thought it was right to do - the puppy had no mother. I felt good that I was nurturing something - even if it was from another species

Hazel was my grandson - now she is my granddaughter (what she has always felt she has been). The gender doctor is in charge of helping her transition - at this point it is mainly with hormone therapy.

Pittsburgh is about 2 hours away. Mostly interstate driving till you get into the mess that is Pittsburgh.

I need to hear (and tell myself) that over and over I guess - it will get better! I am a worrier.

Thanks - that is in the plan - lunch at our favorite Chinese buffet near the clinic.

Yes, I think it is my relationship with Andy. He is a good dog but he has a ways to go with learning to behave. He does want to please though and that is in his favor.

Ha - I'm good at making the cards say anything I want them to. Usually I can finagle them to say something positive. :-)

While Andy may be a work-in-progress, I am sure he will turn out to be a good dog in the end.
