don't laugh

I feel like this can mean me - don't laugh that I want to be a hiker and outdoors person - that I dream of walking something like the Appalachian Trail. I feel like I am a little roly-poly - short legs, old, overweight, with bunions, a complainer when things get hard. Good luck with the hike tomorrow and with the year goal! It sounds really great!
I hope you will meet very nice people and see wonderful views on the way. (And photograph them, of course.)

Thanks.
Ha - I feel like I am already very slow - probably stopping all the time to take pictures doesn't help! But I will be taking my little camera I'm sure.
I am both excited and looking forward and fearful (sounds like the story of my life!)

I admire you so much for even wanting to do this hike and I know you will do well. I'd be a bit scared too as I don't much like meeting new folks. But then maybe its excitement instead of fear as the two can feel somewhat alike. Can't wait to read about your adventure. Have fun!

It will be interesting when it's all over to see if my fears (of not being able to keep up and slowing everyone down) are warranted. I have to keep telling myself, surely they won't hate me if I'm the slowest. :-)

Thanks!

The temps should start around 19 and go up to 25 F tomorrow. Partly sunny. That might sound cold but I don't think it will be for people who are moving and exerting themselves.

I'm getting more confidence as I talk more about it.

Thanks!
