wind chill minus 4 at two mile run

This felt like the coldest outing I have been on so far this winter. It is 11F but the windchill factor made it feel like -4F. The hair that stuck out of my collar in the front was frozen and I could feel it's hardness on my lips. If I had a beard it would have been covered in ice. I know! I got cold/wind burned. I think my hair looks gross with the water frozen on it.

Not gross, but it's like you have a thin and scraggly detached beard.
Plus those few hairs that are over your chin make it look like your chin is cracked. OK, sorry ML, that's enough from me. Plus, I'm re-reading your post and I think you already said that about the beard. I hope it's not too painful like a sunburn would be.

It was a beautiful walk - the sun was even coming out now and then to brighten everything.
