Wonderful story! You made them fit so well in their reversed roles. Each exchange of dialog and minute movement was a treat. And matched with beautifully writing, it was an extremely enjoyable read. +mem! Thank you for sharing!

This is lovely. Especially the atmosphere of the story, it comes out so strongly as dangerous, seductive, and glamorous yet with a hint of a person about to wake up from a dream.

Terrific writing^_^

Thank you very much. Peter has always struck me as slightly dangerous and, though Neal's pretty whimsical himself, even he's attracted to that. So, I couldn't help but write him as seeing that aspect of Peter's character and wanting to see more.

Thank you again. :D

Hee, love your icon.

Be careful, the lines might squeeze back. :)

It's wonderful that you love the story. I'm glad I was able to get them so close to their original characterization without going totally insane. I just loved the idea of them reversing roles and Neal being the earnest, law-abiding one, and Peter being a bit more devil may care. They fit together because they both have ethics and rules that govern their behavior, but they also work because they both understand that when they want, they really want. Neither of them conquer their desires, one just hides it better than the other. In this story, I don't think I even had to switch their roles for that.

Thanks for reading!

How lovely. Yes, a palpable sense of danger. Peter is so good at menace. And chemistry. The story just crackles and sizzles with something about to happen, the very definition of good UST. I wanted more! I wanted Neal to be spectacularly stupid and run away with Peter. I was biting my lip and wondering what Peter's game was. The story was so immediate, so lively with a blend of concrete detail and abstract emotion that it just made me shiver happily throughout.

I'm so glad the story had that affect on you. I've been writing it for over a month now, so I think any immediacy has been lost on me. But I did enjoy the last 2,000 words. Those came the quickest and were when I really got a sense of how emotionally and psychologically attached Neal had gotten to Peter. Even his conscience had surrendered, because how can a man that placid and that ingenious be bad ( ... )
