( Some musings about the employability of humanities graduates. )

 First off, sorry I haven't been keeping on Eurhythmics musings on LiveJournal. When you add more responsibilities like running AXO's nominations and helping with KGB's Puzzle Hunt you decrease blogging time (or at least I do). I still take little notes as is required for the class so maybe I'll post batches of those soon.

Not much new today. But we did do one interesting exercise. We were asked to walk about the room at a steady and personal pace (not walking with the piano, just at our own speeds). Last Wednesday's class was not too terribly novel. We started off by listening to some music and being asked to just move around as it inspired us. That was pretty awkward because most people didn't want to be awkwardly dancing, I guess. I am taking Eurhythmics for Non-majors this semester. Basically we learn how to internalize rhythm and musical mood, I guess? But it's not dancing. NB before I start blathering about NJCL: I just feel like remembering my time at convention. There’s a lot of terminology (primary/secondary members, Certamen, That’s Entertainment, etc) that I just gave up on explaining because I’m really just writing to reflect, not to get feedback this time. :)

But I am back for a week. Instead of taking two weeks off in August, one at home and then one in Kentucky for NJCL, I'm taking a week off now.
