Has anyone on my flist seen Broken BlossomsFor a silent film made almost a hundred years ago, it's oddly compelling. It's interesting to rely on the images and music alone - though there's dialogue written on the screen, it's not the same as hearing it spoken. I agree with this completely. My one complaint with the film was not including the battle at the school; Draco's task seemed utterly pointless, and I'm not sure what they're going to do with the next film re: Fleur and Bill - will we see the wedding? We'd have to, I think, because that's really when everything starts, and the Shell Cottage stuff is already being filmed, but it's just ... odd.

One reasoning for the no-Hogwarts-battle is because there will be some heavy fighting in DH, so they chose to have the Burrow attacked, just to show that no one, muggle or wizard, is safe. Dunno how true it is.

I loved the moment when there was a Voldie flashback and Harry did the Voldemort Neck Roll. Dumbledore looks at him and realizes he's a Horcrux.

Snape's "Oh btw, I'm the Half Blood Prince, doncha know" was awkward and seemed to be glommed in just so the title would make sense.
