Gee...

I wonder what it means when you (meaning me) walk into the room at work and the 2 people who were talking immediately stop talking and walk out of the room. *sarcasm*

By the way, one of these people is a known "Brianne-hater..."

Have I mentioned lately that I pretty much can't stand any of the people I work with? Well, there you go...

complaining, work

Last year at work there was a woman who went out of her way to exclude me from things and talk down about me. I did my best to ignore it and not return the bad mouthing, but it was really tough. She had an effect on other people and the atmosphere in the office really sucked for me. Then she got fired and things turned around. She was like the girl in high school everyone thinks is popular so they try to be her friend, but secretly hate her.

Anyway, I know how it feels for you and here's hoping the Brianne-hater gets what's coming to her in the new year.

It helps to know that I'm not the only one who gets talked about or excluded for no reason. This Brianne-hater I speak of is more someone who people are afraid of (I think) than someone whose company they actually enjoy. I've heard people bad-mouth her as well. In theory, she won't be working here in a few months so I'm hoping things will get better after that.

I think what you'll find after she's gone is that everyone hated her, everyone felt attacked by her and everyone's happy to see the end of her.

Just hang tight for a few more months.

That sucks Bri. Unfortunately, so many people in this world insist on sucking. I don't know why that is, but unfortunately there's no way to avoid them altogether.

Try not to let it get to you.

I will try not to let it get to me. Some days are easier than others. The one person who I do talk to sometimes was on vacation today so that made it tougher. Stupid people suck!

Actually, it just means they were talking about something you shouldn't hear. It could be you, but it could be about their torrid affair, how the big boss sucks, how ugly Tom Welling is, who knows.

You're right that it's possible that they were talking about something that had nothing to do with me, but obviously they didn't feel the need to include me in the conversation either. They're both jerks!

They better not be dissing Tom! :-) Grr...

I would punch that bitch in the face if I was in your office right now.
