I'm one of the crowd who hated having Clark apologize to Ollie of all things, but it kind of made sense given that Clark was trying to pull Ollie out of his asshattery. And he didn't say Ollie was right about KILLING Davis, just taking care of him - ie, following his first, best plan in Beast, and not letting Chloe sway his judgement.
Wasn't Tom just gorgeous this episode. Sometimes I almost take it for granted but this epi just wouldn't let me, right from the opening shot on those gorgeous eyes. Gorgeous!
