Berserk, Bitten, Crazed, Deranged, Enthusiastic, Fanatical, Insane, Rabid
So I never did re-watch Metallo, although that was my plan & intention. Every time I started thinking about it, I pictured all the blood and gore and just didn't have the desire to see it again. I did watch the ending, happy scene with Clark and Lois an extra time or two though.
I was kind of concerned about Rabid, because I was expecting more blood and gore and that's not really my thing. And there was blood and gore, but not so much so that I don't want to re-watch the episode.
Some random thoughts:
-I liked Clark's comment about the Blur agreeing with him. I thought that was cute.
-Another cute moment was when Clark corrected Lois about how long it took to put out the fire. I love light-hearted Clark!
-Also cute? Clark using his super breath on Lois' coffee. Some people might think this stuff is cheesy but give me cheese over angst and gore anyday.
-I really liked all the Clark and Lois scenes.
-Clark carrying Lois away and both of them looking dreamy about it. Sigh...
-The scene in the rain. Guh!
-I thought it was interesting that the episode featured 2 "picture from the wallet" moments. Was that supposed to be a parallel? Oliver had his ex who he doesn't have a chance with in his wallet and Clark had the same. A difference was that Oliver is still pining in a way, and it appeared that Clark was "closing the book" on Lana.
-When Clark apologized to Oliver, I knew it was going to make some people angry (it wasn't my favorite thing). I guess you could wank that Clark didn't mean it, but was only saying it because he knew that's what Oliver wanted to hear?
-I don't like "Oliver the jerk" but I know that he's not going to stop being a jerk for several more episodes. I do think he looks hot in leather though.
-Tonight was Chloe-lite and that was fine with me. I did like the fact that she was concerned about Clark when Dr. Emil was taking his blood. She touched him lovingly and that surprised me- in a good way.
-The scene at the Kent house- When Clark stopped Lois from hitting him on the arm, my first thought was that he did that so she wouldn't hurt herself. However, she's done it before with no notice of his "Man of Steel" body so I don't know. The whole scene was cute though and Clark/Tom looked spectacularly gorgeous and manly and muscle-y and beautiful. Did you see his chest!?!?!? And his booty was looking mighty fine in those jeans! I couldn't help myself...:-)
-The Zod/Tess stuff is still not interesting me that much. I guess Zod is going to think that Clark is Jor-El? If they really look so much alike, then how are they later going to pull off having Jor-El played by another actor? *confused*
Tonight's promo for Echo didn't have any of the "going out on a date" stuff that last week's promo had that was supposedly for Rabid and Echo. Hmmm...
