Sometimes when we talk about our past lives, I wish that I could drag you through those freezing streets and winding alleys and uphill climbs. That would be nice, I think. 

The strange thing is that I suddenly find myself yearning to be that person, and it terrifies me and grounds me at the same time.

Life is good.
I will not jinx it, I will not resist it, I will just enjoy this moment.

Actually, I get it. I suddenly, finally do.
Why this must have seemed like a passing rain cloud. 
Perhaps.

Perhaps in this post-modern society characterised by individualistic, hedonistic behaviour we sometimes need to hit "pause" and remember that humans are after all social beings and need to respect that with society, comes boundaries that we should be mindful of.

And that regardless of our intentions we should always, always, know our place.

I keep expecting something to fall out of the sky (metaphorical, FYI) and for something to happen.
But it doesn't. 
And that's worrying.
