I love this. So much.

The prose is perfect. Each word is imbued with funny-because-she's-hysterical-freaky-outy-desperate-Caroline language that makes it perfect and hilarious and heartbreaking. And I love how you chose to showcase the relationship between Stefan and Caroline because I loved their friendship so much last season and not seeing it is sad

Okay, I loved this. I loved Caroline being unable to stop herself from snarking at dangerous vampires. I loved Caroline being afraid (which is so freaking sensible, my god). I lovedlovedloved having some outside reaction to Klaus freaking courting Caroline. I loved that Caroline's house was Grand Vampire Station. I loved Caroline's not-apology to Klaus (omg, my heart). And I love, SO MUCH LOVE, the interaction between Stefan and Caroline, which we have been long denied.

Oh. And this line: Stefan and Damon are assholes and she hates them more than she likes them most days, but she thinks that a century or two down the road they’ll be the only family she has left and she wants that, wants it more than anything. She doesn’t handle an hour of loneliness well; she wouldn’t know what to do with an eternity of it. That line?

It killed me. I am slain.

Also! Caroline's snarky thoughts about why they all spell things with K? Priceless.

Okay, wow. I don’t even know where to start. I think my favourite thing about this fic is Caroline’s relationships with everybody. Whether it’s Klaus, Elena, Stefan or even Matt (that line about beautiful blonde babies killed me) you made me absolutely love it.

The sheer panic in the beginning, Stefan’s warnings ( Once you do, you're his-and he is very jealous about all his possessions. I mean, SERIOUSLY, how perfect…), the slow progression and the speech at the end where she practically tells him all her complicated feelings about him, about herself, it left me speechless.

Then there’s the thing that all the Mikaelsons seem to ship Klaroline xD
Besides, Klaus daggers everyone. It's not even like he really means it anymore. I loved your Kol just as much as I love the canon version. He’s such a precious little troll. <3

Anyway, to sum up, this was perfect. I’ll never get enough of your fics <3

The Klaus-Caroline talk in the end is so sad but so beautiful. I really love it.

And yes. I do think that happened to Finn. Why else would he agree to kill himself and all of his family?
