I too adore Stefan/Caroline bffness, and the complete lack of it this season is just a travesty. I mean, there's like seven episodes left so they might theoretically be in the same room as each other at some point, right?

I have SO much love for this. The convo with Klaus had me near tears (damn I miss Jenna) and the ending you don't like with Stefan was so sweet and cute.

I have not yet met a person who doesn't miss Jenna (Kevin, Julie-WHHHYYYYYYYYY?!). I figured it should come up sooner or later in the whole Klaroline arc, and that convo was really the only way I could see it happening.

So much love for this it's bordering on ridiculous. The Steroline scenes made me feel all levels of nostalgia and the line about her being a drive-by for the Mikaelsons - God, how perfect is this?

This is probably ~the~ ~most~ ~perfect~ Klaroline oneshot I've ever read, perfect in the sense that they're both in character, her thought processes so very neaurotic and hysterical and Caroline and it doesn't make me drop to my knees all WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY when they didn't have the cookie cutter ending where he changes enough for her to see that people aren't perfect Miley Cyrus was right blah blah.

And Stefan and Caroline at the end ("I don't know, can you?") - urgh just urgh. I am so trolling through your other fics later.

*Blushes*, oh thank you! This one took so much longer than I originally intended, and it was so hard to think of a development in which they could have a happy ending that I just couldn't help but write it as this.

This was just lovely and very in character. I liked how protective Klaus' brother were of him and how Caroline did her best to explain herself to Klaus. I liked that Stefan was slowly coming back to himself and that in about 100 years, the Salvatore brothers would be her only family left and she was learning to forgive and forget.

Mostly, I just liked how much respct Klaus has for Caroline--more then any man has actually ever shown her.
