Dr. Who vs. Buffy

I've started watching the newer Dr. Who and Buffy at the same time. As i struggle to get through Buffy, i find i am completely engrossed by Dr. Who. I'm nearing the point of giving up with Buffy, but i am on the last disc of the first season. Maybe i should give season 2 a chance ( Read more... )

re:Buffy: If you enjoy Ms Calendar you should watch the first two eps of Season 2. Eps in Season 2 you must watch before giving up:

I love both Doctor Who and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Doctor Who has the longer history, having 26 seasons of the original series plus a TV movie added to its 4 series of the new program. I've been a fan ever since 1980 on PBS.

I would give Season 2 of Buffy the Vampire Slayer a try. It does contain one of the funniest episodes, "Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered." Spike and Drusilla make great villains. And there is a major twist in the second half of the season. Buffy was always a show that I made sure I never missed.

So I watched the last episode of Season 1 last night and it was soooo much better than all the other episodes i've seen so far. It's so obvious when Joss is actually writing the content it's unbelievable. With that said, i have added Season 2 to my netflix queue. Plus everyone egging me on helped too.
