Still sick. In fact, perhaps a bit worse today than yesterday. I dragged myself out of bed at a responsible hour this morning and borrowed some money from my grandfather to get us through 'til Jimmy's paycheck comes on Friday. We need gas, food, there are doctor bills and I still don't have any office appropriate clothing. So I take the check

You know, I do believe that's how I got my last office job. Or was it the one before? I should send Amy a bottle of champagne or something when I get money again.

The same thing happens with Barb's paychecks. One hundred of it is available immediately, but the rest isn't available until the following Monday (she gets paid every other Thursday).

We're not teetering on draining our account, but we still have to be circumspect when it comes to the weekends she gets paid.
