As we all know well, my friends, the transition from fighting fire in rural Idaho to studing Engrish while semi-homeless in Roseville/Detroit can be a bit harrowing. Not that I would wish to still be living in MI, but I am somewhat sad to not be close enough to take you up on any of these excellent opportunities. I'm certain that I would be very interested in most if not all of these suggestions. Perhaps sometime if you're ever out this way....

you know I'm up for a good round of bar room philosophy anytime. I'm free Wednesday nights and out of class by 9:10 on Thursday.

Indeed; Wednesdays I'm out at 8:30; 8:50 Tuesday and Thursday.

Too bad. My real-estate mogul friends, of which I have none, assure me that now is the time to speculate.

You need to be closer to Ottawa! I spent my weekend in the Gatineau Hills. Next, the Laurentians(however ya spell it...)
I'm hiking my evenings and weekends away-- it keeps my mind ooff of my love who is still in SA.
