Mar 14, 2007 10:29

Series: Heroes
Disclaimer: Everything belongs to the creators, and I am not one of them.
Spoilers: ENORMOUS SPOILERS through "Six Months Ago," plus implied spoilers for everything through "Parasite."
Rating: G, or PG if you live in a nunnery.
Summary: Hiro can bend the space-time continuum. Hiro/Charlie. 850 words.
Notes: A gift for oyceter.

She’d lived in his mind as bright and true as if she’d been imprinted into a memory matrix, like the one in Chris Claremont-era “X-Men” that captured the essence of the dead (and resurrected, and cloned, and impersonated ad infinitum, but at that point, dead) Jean Grey’s personality. )

Hiro fic! With bonus X-Men geekery! Approval noted. (And it's lovely. ^^)

Thank you! Hiro is a member of the Merry Marvel Marching Society. He can probably recite the genealogy of the Summers family.

Oh!! Thank you! This is awesome!

I love the Hiro-voice, particularly how he can pinpoint X-Men down into eras (of course he can), and noting that "temporal paradox" is a good thing to know.

And oh! She calls him "anata" and they get to watch the cherry blossoms, even though she can't be with him for too long. And I love the "Kyoto, konnichi-wa!" and the last line especially.

Sorry for the disgracefully late reply, but-- I'm really glad you liked it.

I had the idea that Hiro and Charlie would both think it's worthwhile to learn new words, especially handy ones like "temporal paradox," no matter how short the time span is to use them, and once I thought that, sakura immediately came to mind.

Oh, oh *oh*. I never got Hiro and Charlie, on the show. They were rushed and I didn't really know her, not like I'd've wanted to. She wasn't that interesting, for me. But eeeh. Your Charlie? Makes me wish I'd paid more attention.
Makes me sort-of reluctantly ship them?
Which boils down to I really really liked this and they are both gigantic woobies. You are awesome.
