Agent A had my manuscript for 4 months. I contacted her one month ago - three months into her having the manu - and told her I'd re-written the ending, would she like the new version? She said " yes", so I sent it out. "I should be caught up by the end of July," was her response

You did the right thing. Our waiting on them is a major issue. To them we're just a number in an already huge pile. They can't keep you waiting forever.
