Throne is busying trying to have a conversation with Argent in his head, and has been the entire evening, but every time he tries to get to the point, he keeps getting hung up on “So I figured out what changeling means” before having it mentally derail. So he’s surprised and taken off guard when Argent’s hands are suddenly in his, spreading to gently deposit KC in the small hallow of his pushed-together palms.

"Oh yeah, sure," he says, shaking his head, as if doing so would suddenly make the pieces of what he wants to say suddenly fall into place. It’s been a few days since normalcy kicked back in, and after so long a time apart, Throne feels like he needs to relearn what life without Want and with Argent is like, though he hasn't been doing a good job of it. Nevermind the fact that he’s been trying to figure out what to say and how to say it when it comes to this latest discovery of himself. Which, Throne knows, there isn't a rush to reveal, but he can't deny this pressing sense of urgency that he feels whenever Argent is around

Argent finds an opened can of KC's food and pulls it out, shutting the ice-box with his foot and then going to find a plate and a spoon. With that done, he sets his things on the counter on the other side of KC. The kitten ambles over and tries to eat food out of the container, but Argent gives him a gentle push back in Throne's direction and shovels out three small spoonfuls onto the plate. He considers the kitchen cabinets in front of him as he does so

Throne smirks back, trying to match Argent’s expression and up it slightly the dramatic angle of his neck as he throws his head back and to the side to look at him. "Well," he says and twists about, so that he and Argent are side to side and slightly closer, close enough so that when Throne leans slightly over, tipping his center of balance to one side, his shoulder bumps Argent lightly. "I hate to go all clichéd and trite on you, G, but there’s no place like home?" He laughs, pretty sure Argent won’t get it and then shrugs with one shoulder, trying to play off what he says as much less of a big deal than it really is. As he speaks he quietly surveys the living room, his head giving a tiny bob every time he lists off something. "I mean, my bed, my clothes, my shower, my room." Pausing, Throne turns his head again towards Argent, pursing his lips. "My roommate. I figure, I signed up for this whole deal for a reason, right? Wouldn’t make sense if I wasn’t totally glad to be back, so. YeahAs far as Throne can tell, this is

"Hm?" he asks. The noise is somewhat distracted sounding itself, and Argent chews on the inside of his cheek as he considers Throne's still slightly concerned facial expression. He lets himself be jostled by another nudge from Throne's shoulder and responds by tilting his head to one side. "No, I hardly suspected it was, given the events of the past few days. You have quite the plethora of distracting issues to take a crack at, and I barely fit into any. Though," he pauses, tilting his head all the way to the other side, "I suppose it is good to have the confirmation of it
