Characters: Cloud (iattractmushi), Cephiro (andcountry), and Smoke (inthecenterfold)
Date/Time: April 27th
Location: Nightmare Wilderness
Rating: PG-13, at least, I'd imagine.
Summary: Smoke has been lost in the Wilderness for a little less than a month. Luckily for him two Adventurers are willing to brave the current setting, looking for stragglers.

Cephiro nodded once before the doors opened. He hadn't been down to this Wilderness to explore, but he had heard some distressing things about it. It didn't look like much at the moment, though - a dim but nondescript hallway with rooms on both sides.

"Do you have any combat skill?" he asked, trying to be as casual as possible and failing miserably as the two stepped out of the elevator.

"Some." He'd brought along the throwing knives and the shurikin Sniper had given him, though he'd left the staff behind. He didn't want to use them, but... this Wilderness didn't seem like one they should mess around with. "I'll be able to get away from anything that attacks me." Hopefully.

He stepped out with Cephiro, looking out into... darkness. Weird. He could usually see pretty well in the dark, better than most people seemed to be able to. What was up with this place?

He turned slightly, to see what his companion thought of it... only to find that no one was there.

They'd been warned about this. "Cephiro?" he called softly. The kid couldn't be too far away... he stuck his hands out cautiously in the direction he thought Cephiro should be, not wanting to hit him.

[[OOC: Okay so Word of KK Mod says that this Wilderness is basically dreamsharing on nightmare fuel. Cephiro and Cloud will have to make it through Cloud's Darkness nightmare, then they'll stumble into Smoke's, and work their way through whatever Cephiro's nightmare is on their way out. All the while, the Arcane will be going after all three of them. Smoke's dream will shift one more time before Cloud & Cephiro show up :) but I figure this is enough to go on - now you two can tag w/o me for awhile. Just give me a heads-up in the subject or an OOC comment when I can come back in~]]

While Cephiro and Cloud wandered through Cloud's nightmare, Smoke was stuck in his own. He'd gotten lost without his journal back when the Wilderness was still a city of crystals - there were hardly any significant landmarks for him to be able to find the exit again. When it shifted to place that looked like it was made out of teeth he knew he wanted to get out of there as soon as possible, but such was not his luck. He opened door after door, until finally ( ... )

"I'm here!" Cephiro responded, though it didn't immediately occur to him to go groping for Cloud. Instead, he held out his left hand and tried a light spell. The darkness itself didn't bother him - it only made him mildly uncomfortable in the same sense that one would be uncomfortable in a room that was just a little too cool - but when the light spell didn't work after the third try panic began to set in ( ... )

The fact that he could hear his companion was a little reassuring, and gave him a direction to grope in. Even if the words weren't reassuring at all ( ... )
