Lix had been spending less and less time in his house recently, using any excuse he could find to avoid the building unless he needed to sleep. Getting work done was as good a reason as any and sure enough, he'd been at the farm since sunrise. As Krile arrived he was wrestling a sheep. And losing.

When Krile followed Turnip's advice and headed to the sheep paddock, she was somehow surprised and not to see him currently battling a very uncooperative-seeming bundle of wool. She grinned and propped her spear against the fence, cupping a hand around her mouth.

"Baaaa! You need a hand there?"

For a second or so he seemed to gain the upper hand, holding the sheep still and feeling around for the medicine bottle. But as he brought the bottle to the animal's mouth it wriggled free again. Lix laughed, standing and dusting himself off before responding to Krile. He attempted to look suspicious but the grin made it less than convincing.

"I don't know, you seem to be talking sheep. How do I know you're not a spy?"

"That's such a terrible thing to say!" she laughed, unable to help it at the combination of suspicious glare and grin. "How can you accuse someone like me of spying? I've never spied for sheep in my life!"

She climbed over the fence, taking care not to step in anything as she headed over. "Maybe I can prove my loyalty by helping you win this gal over."
