Summary: Spelunking? Pings? Sounds like a perfect day.
In between being preoccupied with Gene, trying to be strong for Neil's sake, being suddenly very happy that those two things were resolve, and trying to set up a party, Krile had been nagged by another thought--she really, really needed to spend more time with Lix. The time that they'd been together during the zombie invasion had just felt right, awful as the overall situation had been. And while they both had their own lives, she still felt like they could share more.
There was a part of her that felt very scared that he might vanish at any moment, and it wasn't helped by the fact that she knew it was a reasonable worry. So, she decided, they were going to explore the Wilderness together. It had sounded quite interesting on the journal, and Lix's reaction to memory crystals had reminded Krile of how important the word felt... she didn't want to let that slip her mind again.
It was fortunately sunny today, so Krile took her morning off to head over to Lix's house. She hoped he'd be there--she might have written a journal note or tried to figure out the radio, but the direct way seemed best. If he wasn't here, she'd just head on over to the farm to find him.
