"Oh, hello!" Krile smiled and waved at the pair when Paladin spotted them. In fact, they had been heading for the Wilderness. Krile hadn't seen it, but she'd heard rumors too... and she had a strong feeling that Lix wouldn't mind exploring it with her. With a sword that wouldn't turn into a cat, thank you very much.

And Reed was better! Well, better enough to go exploring a little. She wouldn't assume he was fully recovered--that had been a nasty wound. But it was still a relief. "Where are you two off to?"

Lix felt comfortable holding the sword, at least, even if the idea of using it to kill something made him feel ill. The wilderness' current shape had sounded a little familiar to him, too. He certainly didn't recall anything that floated in the sky using the power of strange machines - okay, he was maybe a little uncomfortable with that floating part still - but something about it felt correct. Just like something about holding the sword felt correct, even if he was disappointed by the lack of kitten. And just like Cara's presence felt correct.

Still, his willingness to explore the place was far more selfish than just pure curiosity or wanting to help Cara. Much as he loved the farm he was quickly growing restless in the tree's branches and wanted to be somewhere else, even if the only somewhere else he recalled had been a town where he'd felt just as uncomfortable. He smiled to Reed and Paladin, waving quietly.

The mere description of the tower was enough to give him pause... and insistence on accompanying Paladin to the wilderness. Lost, mechanical, mysterious... those chills that normally accompanied the thoughts of flight ran back down his spine. Perhaps he was inching closer to their source- that alone was reason enough to pay the site a visit, Paladin's safety even moreso- stitches or otherwise.

Though he, too, was pulled from this thoughts by the arrival of a familiar face- or two. He broke his brooding for a smile. "Well met, Krile, Lix. We're off to the wilderness."

He returned the smiles and waves, and elaborated on what Reed had said. "Have you heard the descriptions? A mechanical tower in the air...the idea seems familiar to both of us. And--" he sobered a bit, "--I've seen something that fit that description before." That memory, the failed hostage exchange...he shook his head a little to clear the thought away before it could lead to the particulars of the old man's death.

"Where are you bound?" He asked Lix and Krile--however, they both seemed to be armed... "Might it also be the Wilderness?"

"You too?" Well, that was surprising! As was the news that Paladin had seem something like it before... it sounded familiar to Krile as well. Maybe it was for the same reason--? The thought that they might be from the same world hadn't quite gone away. "It might be something I--we've seen before too, but I don't have any actual memory of it."

The idea of going all together suddenly seemed like a very good one. Not because Krile held any particular fears of the monsters there, or how hard it would be to navigate... but it just seemed right to have four people go into a potentially dangerous place. She looked over Reed. "Are you okay? Your wound's better?" she asked as she hit the elevator's call button.

"Likewise. But it sounds familiar, anyway. And even if it turns out to be nothing it's good to get out and about after zombie attacks, right?"

...Lix was apparently blissfully unaware of the fact that just about everything he said sounded ridiculous.
