Sky was actually happy to hear the repetitive jingle of the ice cream truck when it was time for his lunch break that day. He figured that he could use something to cool him off, as the weather had been unusually hot lately, and his beat in the blazing sun was starting to take its toll.

Strolling up to the truck, hoping it would give him actual ice cream this time, he didn't notice the creature attempting to loot it at first.

Cookie was studying the back of the truck, paying no mind to the meatbags which seemed to find interest in whatever the truck was carrying. Whatever it was, Cookie wanted a piece of it.

He emerged from the shadows, making a quick dash for the back of the truck and attempted to wiggle the latch open.

Sky spotted sudden movement and watched a little- thing? He wasn't quite sure what it was, but it resembled a turtle- run around to the back of the truck. Curious, he followed, and watched it wiggle a latch.

A robber? Sky thought. Or perhaps someone just wanting to make sure he got what he wanted. Either way, best to nip this in the bud and do his duty as a Watchman.

"Excuse me! What do you think you're doing?" he asked, using his best authoritative tone.

Cookie's attention shot up to the speaker. What was with these hairy creatures wanting to stop him? Annoying creatures! That creature had no reason to question Cookie! He was better than them, after all. They should be bowing to him, not hindering him! He pushed his glasses up his nose, annoyed, and flung open the door, not answering Sky's question.

Unfortunately for Cookie, nothing ever went as planned in this place and he was met face first with a pile of scoops of ice cream and popsicles. Great.

Strangely, the frilly-shirt poncy outfit Krile had found herself in the other day was actually quite comfortable in the summer heat. The boots were still too high for her comfort and she'd shoved the silk gloves into the odd, tassly belt, but apart from that it hadn't given her any problems except to make her feel ridiculous.

She was on her way to visit the farm when she heard the now-familiar jingle of the ice cream truck, and well, why not? Maybe she could try a more sensible flavor than turnip this time... when she drew close, however, she spotted a distinctly familiar figure.

Oh, really... Krile thought to herself, shaking her head. The last time she'd encountered Cookie had been quite bizarre and not particularly threatening, but his talk over the journals made her want to keep an eye on him anyway. "Hey there," she said, raising her eyebrows and not bothering to conceal the suspicion in her voice. "What are you up to?"

Cookie's previous attempts had failed miserably, all resulting in a pile of ice cream. He wanted to beat the truck with his broom until he got a better result. Broom in hand, he crept from the shadows until he heard the tone of the last hairy creature he wanted to ever see again. It was that blonde creature that foiled his plans at the castle.

"Get lost!" he hissed.

Krile rolled her eyes at Cookie's hiss. If he was up to something shady, she wasn't going to stand by and watch. She didn't know what he was trying to do and doubted something involving the ice cream truck could really do much damage, but it was the principle of the thing.

"Why?" she said. "I've got just as much right to buy ice cream as anyone else." Not that she bothered pretending to look for money in her pockets.

The edges of his mouth curved down into a frown. Buy ice cream. Right. Not his plans. "Whatever." That was just fine. she could go about her own business if she so pleased. He would do the same. He pushed up his glasses and turned to go to the opposite side of the truck.
