-- This is Lady, do you know what the lighthouse is by? I could try to help... --

-- Miss Lady~! ♥ I knew I could count on such a responsible goddess~! --
Ah... maybe now was not the time for his usual antics. And she posed an excellent question, too. He hadn't been taking in the surroundings with his usual thoroughness, seeing as the flowing hair kinda distracted him.
Journal still with him, he walked back over to the window and stuck his head out for a better look. It was then he noticed the chill in the air, as well as his post looking out to snow-covered mountains in the distance.
-- Do you know of any places that have snowy mountains, Miss Lady? --

-- I think I may know where you are. Would you like me to come try and res help you? --
She knew she wasn't exactly the most physically adept person in the Sphere, but she couldn't just let someone languish there! For whatever reason it seemed very important for Lady to be helpful.

But there was no one around for him to direct his fury at. He was alone, bound, wearing a poofy purple dress for some reason... and hanging above a large vat filled with a bubbling green liquid. He snarled.
First things first, then. He needed to get out of this predicament, and then he could hunt down the responsible party. Rain forced himself to calm down and assess his situation. The rope was wrapped tightly around his body from his shoulders to his hips, pinning his arms at his sides, so even if he had a kunai on him (which he doubted, since he hadn't gone to sleep with one on his person), he wouldn't be able to get at it. The voluminous ( ... )

The fact that she could just skim through the walls of texts and avoid getting all irritated didn't even cross her mind. The problem wasn't her, but everyone else.
And, being Lin, she wouldn't have even bothered to stop by when she saw a person all tied up, hanging over a huge vat that seemed filled with... Something green, she couldn't tell exactly what from afar. But it didn't take long to notice the person was slowly being lowered towards it.
Her first instinct was to jump over there and help. Weird instinct to have for someone who said she didn't care about anything and anyone. Then, ( ... )

One of his shoes (a pointy unstable-looking and entirely impractical shoe with a large frilly bow on it) had slipped off his foot and landed in the bubbling liquid, and although Rain couldn't see much below him due to the dress, it had sounded like it had dissolved. There had been a loud hissing noise and a horrible smell, in any case.
He was mentally running through every curse he knew and a few he made up just for the occasion, when a woman appeared. Out of nowhere. Walking on nothing.
In spite of himself, Rain's jaw dropped. He'd heard about some people here having strange powers or abilities, but he'd never seen anything quite like this. Yes, he was gawking. When she spoke, though, his brows furrowed and he barely managed to bite back a snippy reply. I don't need your help had been on his lips, but if he was ( ... )

With a low growl, he sneered, looking down to see tight binds. Underneath the rope, he wore a very classic, southern lace dress, though he didn't quite notice. That wasn't the most important thing at the moment anyway, because he was moving. Yes, moving. He wasn't just looking at the Bazaar, he was looking at it from a sideways view, and it slowly passed on by, even though he himself couldn't so much as move his arms and legs.
"Dammit." Another futile struggle. Rise had yet to notice the other body pressed into his back, and he wouldn't, because the rapid grind of metal from overhead would steal the remainder of his attention. His eyes darted upward, and sure enough, a giant circular saw ( ... )

He blearily blinked one eye open, and winced as the sun hit it. "Gah! Ow!"
Wait this wasn't medical. This was the bazaar...
The fact that Ghost was now in a Red Southern Bell Dress didn't really phase him at all. Nor did the sudden environment change. He was after all a veteran of the sphere. What DID freak him out was that it felt like he was tied with his back against someone and that he could hear a very loud scary buzzing sound directly above him ( ... )

Heading towards buzz saws.
With no one else moving to help.
The situation was just getting better and better by the minute.
Dropping what she was holding Lady hurried over, glad she'd decided to wear pants today and thus make it slightly less likely that she was going to trip. She stumbled once but caught herself, and by the time she made it to the two people she was slightly winded but determined as ever.
"Ah... D-do either of you know how to stop this?" She made a vague gesture to the conveyer belt/saw combination they were attached to. "Or how I can help?"

"If I did, don't you think I would've done it by now?" No, not the most cooperative co-captor, although if Rise actually did have an idea, he most certainly would've shared it. He growled lowly, shoulders tensing against the binds, though his attempts proved just as useless as before. It didn't make sense. He should've been able break through to fairly easily.
Hearing the smaller voice, his attention turned in that direction. He vaguely registered a familiarity about the woman, but the urgency of the current situation distracted him from thinking about it too much. Unfortunately, Rise didn't have the slightest idea how this contraption worked, so the simple solution eluded him. "I don't know, jam something in it. And hurry!"

...wait a second. Something was wrong. His hair... it was way too long. And it felt... tangled, somehow. He twisted his head around, trying to see what the Tree had done to him.
Cloud blinked, taken slightly aback. Not only was his hair long enough to be coiled up in a pile close by him, the entire length of it was braided as well. He put up a hand to his face... yes, the bangs over his left eye had been pulled back into the braid. Damn... but that wasn't really the problem; a sharp knife would take care of the hair issue, and he could just keep his left eye closed for now.
But in glancing back to see what had been done to his hair, Cloud had noticed what he was wearing. He had been dressed in a kimono, a rather nice one actually... but one clearly meant to be worn by a woman ( ... )

He looked down to see a small, pink person pacing back and forth at the bottom of the tower. It was impossible to see who it was at this distance... though he couldn't help thinking of the little pink-haired girl he'd met in Disneyland. He shouted down to the person, "Hello! I'm up here, but I don't think there is a door."
Maybe this person would be able to help him out, like Cara had yesterday.

She smiled, waving up at the person. "I ran all around the tower, there's nothing! How'd you get up there if there's no door?" She figured she'd start with the logical question. "I'll see if I can find some way to let you out, do you got a ladder or something up there?"
She'd try climbing up the side of the tower, but it looked pretty steep.

She honored the promise of never breathing a word of it to any soul.
Prince had settled to his nap perhaps half an hour when Locket was peering around here and there, quiet as a mouse. She'd bailed people out of towers guarded by dragons and other fierce monsters... she didn't want to alarm any guardians if they lurked. All she found this time, however, was a maiden rested peacefully on a pedestal.
...Another dress-wearing male, she corrected herself quietly as she stepped over, hand on the hilt of her rapier in case trouble was afoot. After carefully keeping an eye out for a minute, she relaxed... and tried tapping the sleeper's shoulder.

Apparently, the alter was just that damn comfortable. But at least he didn't snore.

Locket stepped back, having a look at this strange altar he slept on: It was made of white stone, carved intricately in many different patterns. It looked too new... too clean to be sitting behind the most highly populated drinking hole of Edensphere. Not a drop of the last day's rain clung to the stone, despite the moistened earth beneath it. Recalling that a lot of these odd predicaments involved some sort of old faerie tale, she ran through her options... which ones involved sleeping ( ... )
