Running through the Tree had become one of Yachiru's favorite habits. It helped to keep her in shape and tire her out so Ghost wouldn't complain.

Over the past few days though, she'd noticed random strange structures popping up where she didn't remember anything being before. Like the tower here.

Yachiru paused, looking up to see if there was any reason why there was a tower here, but if anyone was inside it. A quick glance showed there was no door, but a window could be seen although it was up pretty high. She hoped nobody was in there, but if so she wondered how they'd get out. She'd just jump, but then again she was pretty light and figured she could probably float if she tried hard enough. Maybe. Hopefully.

Cupping her hands around her mouth, Yachiru shouted up into the air. "Hello, tower! Are you holding a person inside you, and if not where's your door?"

She figured it was a good question, who the Hell designed a building without a way to get inside it. Honestly, that was one of the stupidest things she had ever seen, and she kicked the building to show her frustration. She paced back and forth, waiting for an answer and hoping not to get one. Still, if someone was in there they might want food or something, and she was bored anyway.

Cloud had resigned himself to waiting for someone to arrive, sitting down in a sort of kneeling position that actually felt half-way natural. It took awhile (or at least, it felt like awhile to Cloud) for someone to either notice the tower or care enough to investigate it, but he rose to his feet very quickly when he heard the shout.

He looked down to see a small, pink person pacing back and forth at the bottom of the tower. It was impossible to see who it was at this distance... though he couldn't help thinking of the little pink-haired girl he'd met in Disneyland. He shouted down to the person, "Hello! I'm up here, but I don't think there is a door."

Maybe this person would be able to help him out, like Cara had yesterday.

Yachiru had been just about ready to wander off to find a rock or something to throw at the tower when she thought she heard something. Running back over to where the window was, she shaded her eyes as she looked up to see what she could spot. There was someone there all right, maybe they needed help.

She smiled, waving up at the person. "I ran all around the tower, there's nothing! How'd you get up there if there's no door?" She figured she'd start with the logical question. "I'll see if I can find some way to let you out, do you got a ladder or something up there?"

She'd try climbing up the side of the tower, but it looked pretty steep.

She was waving at him. She also sounded extremely cheerful about this whole thing... well, maybe she didn't realize he was stuck up here. "I don't know! I just woke up here!" He pulled his head back, looking around for a ladder, just in case he'd missed it the first time. No... the room was sparsely furnished, he would have seen a ladder if there was one. He was the only thing in the room aside from a bed, a chair, and a tiny table. Well, him and... the huge amount of hair Edensphere had thoughtfully given him.

He eyed the coil of braided white hair for a moment, then stuck his head out the window again. Yes, it might just be long enough to reach the bottom, and his rescuer seemed pretty small... maybe she was light enough to climb up his hair without hurting him too much.

"Hey, do you have a knife? And can you climb a rope?" He started gathering up the coils of hair as he waited for her answer, preparing to throw it out the window.

Of course she was waving, it was the polite thing to do, and she was usually cheerful. Admittedly, she had no idea he was stuck up there until he had said something, then she knew she'd have to find some way to get him down. She wasn't exactly good at coming up with ideas though, so if it was left up to her poor Cloud might be up there far longer than he'd like to be. When he stuck his head back out and asked another question Yachiru perked up, an idea forming in her head.

"I got a knife, yeah, and I'm awesome at climbing! Why, do you got a rope or something up there?" If he did have a rope he should have used it to get down, but maybe the rope was attached to something which is why he needed the knife.

"Want me to try climbing the tower, I was thinking about it but the bricks look real smooth!" That wasn't enough to stop her though.

It only took a moment to search through his hair, most of it now gathered up in his hands, and find the end. He dropped that out the window, playing out the rest of it so that it dangled smoothly down without tangling up in itself. He looked out again. Yes, it dangled quite neatly right to the bottom of the tower... in fact, it almost touched the ground. He wrapped it once, twice around his arm, in order to take the weight of his rescuer whenever she started to climb.

"There! Use that to climb up!" Hopefully this would work. He didn't want to be stuck here long.

When she first saw something come out of the window she was confused, wondering what he was dropping. As the hair started to unfurl, she stepped out of the way and waited for it to finish falling. Once it had stopped, she gripped some in both her hands, testing it's strength. She'd have no problem using it to climb up, and she was pretty sure her weight was negligible anyway.

"Okee, heading up now!" She climbed quickly, aware from the urgency in Cloud's voice that he seriously wanted out of there.

She wasn't heavy at all. He was glad that he had a firm grip on his hair, but her weight wasn't anything his arm was having trouble with.

When she finally got to the top Yachiru would see Cloud, left eye firmly closed, standing near the window.

Jumping off the hair-rope, Yachiru looked around the room. She'd never seen Cloud dressed as he was before, and blinked a lot.

"So, now that I'm up here do you got any snacks?" She grinned, joking as she carefully pulled out her knife. "Are we cutting the hair off so we can both climb down?"

Cloud chuckled a little at her question. "Your name was Blood, right? No, I'm afraid I don't have any right now, but I might be willing to buy some for the person who came up here to help me--after we both get down. And that's right..." He gestured for her to give him the knife. He could cut his own hair faster than she could, probably. "We can tie it onto something, the bed maybe, and that will let us use it to climb down."

He was going to have to ignore the complaints his ribs were going to make. There was no other way to get down, so he would just have to grit his teeth and bear the pain.

Yachiru nodded, not correcting him as she handed over the knife. "Yeah, you can call me Blood. That's okee, let's see if we can get down first and then we'll talk snackrifices. I know the hair can hold me, so maybe I should go down first to catch you if you fall." She may not look like much, but she was sure she could hold him if needs be.

"I hope you don't wreck your pretty dress climbing though, those are some nice shoes!" She had a pair like that once, she was pretty sure of it.

Cloud made short work out of cutting his hair down to a much more comfortable length. The act of cutting his hair seemed somewhat familiar, too... he breathed a near-silent sigh of relief as his hair fell over his left eye again. He handed back the knife, then scrubbed a hand through his hair gratefully. Much better.

He hid a slight smile at her confident statement about catching him, as he carefully tied the hair securely around one of the bedposts. He had no clue that she was actually telling the absolute truth; it just sounded like childish bragging to him.

Straightening up again, he smoothed a wrinkle in the obi and walked back to the window. "Nnn... I'm not too worried about ruining the dress. I don't usually wear things like this, you know." He glanced down at his shoes, considering them for a second. "...you can have them, if you want." Whether she could fit in them was another story, but he wasn't really interested in wearing them ever again.
