It was still dark, though. And why everything…watery? Or least a form of some breathable liquid. He frowned in consternation; this sensation of being surrounded in fluid was oddly familiar, yet he couldn't fathom the reason for it.
But the color isn’t right, his mind told him.
Does it really matter?
Outstretched fingers fluttered briefly before into a wall and mapping out the area. He realized he was a in very enclosed space, and his heart rate inexplicably sped up. As he kicked out with his feet, he felt the wall tear and give way easily.
Light spilled into his vision as he tumbled out on his hands and knees. When he tried to inhale, all he got was a instantaneous panicky filling that his lungs were full of something before his body instinctively reacted and he was hacking out the stuff he had been cocooned in.

"Not really," he admitted. "I guess even if I explained it, it wouldn't make much sense." His gaze flickered away.
Lezard and Idun. The first name--he could vaguely place it as hearing it before. A shake of his head banished the thought. "My name?"
"How long are you gonna lie there, Spike?”
"You’re the proof I existed, remember? My living legacy."
It's not Spike. That didn't sound right. More like a nickname or something.
"Legacy," he said softly. Because...I suppose that's what I am. Legacy of what, I'll figure that out later.

...Oh hey, that's actually kind of nice.
But back to the matter at hand. The other man was speaking, and he began really listening when he mentioned the dream. "How'd you know I had a dream?" He asked, mildly suspicious, if only because of that grin. "And what do you mean, empty head?" He was mildly offended, he was sure he knew...
Knew...
...Well, crap.
Right, so maybe this Lezard should be listened to attentively. As for a name--"I think I'll call myself Geoff," He said with a nod. He liked that name, it sounded good and sensible.
