And it was colder. Possibly because he was now aware, that in addition to the cold and the slime, he was naked. He just kept wishing he knew what he was reaching for before he broke out.
He noticed someone standing with him, as he wiped the slime from his eyes, flicking it from his hands looking around at the cocoons surrounding him. It was at this point, he was overwhelmed.

Wait. His eye was just shut. Opening it... it was still dark, with a sort of greeny-brown tinge to the darkness. He was floating... floating? He was drowning! Whatever this liquid was, it was in his lungs.
He reached out to touch the wall he could see, intending to beat his fists on it until it either gave way or someone heard and came to help him. Instead, the barrier crumbled at his touch, spilling him, coughing and hacking the stuff out of his lungs, onto the floor.
It was very cold. He had managed to catch himself before he fell completely to the floor, but being on his hands and knees, unable to see, in an unknown place wasn't exactly making him happy. He rubbed at his eye, clearing his vision of the goo, and looked up, shivering slightly. Two other men were standing in the room with him, one naked, the other one clothed.
It was about then that he noticed that he was also naked. Huh. "What...?"

"Welcome to Edensphere, you two," he said, his tone friendly. "Clean yourselves off so we can get some clothes on you; I know it's pretty chilly in here. I realize that you guys probably have questions, so I'll do my best to answer them. My name's Sky; what can I call you?"

He jumped again at the other voice, while he had been aware of a third party in the room, he wasn't prepared to hear them speak. Nor was he prepared to name himself. He felt like it was something he should just know, but he didn't. All he had was the ringing gunshot in his ears, and what he assumed was his own voice.
"Pollux." was the only thing he could manage through the shivering.

He looked over at the fully clothed guy when he spoke, and took two of the towels. One he wrapped around his waist--he was glad there were only guys in the room, but damn it, it was cold!--and used the other to towel as much as the goo as he could out of his hair.
When the guy asked his question, his movements halted abruptly and he brought the towel down, staring at the man. He couldn't remember! He couldn't remember anything. He strained to think of anything, anything he could possibly call himself, but all he could remember was his dream. It was important--no, essential--that he name himself something. Anything, it didn't matter. He wasn't sure why this was such a big deal ( ... )
