Eternity tended to wander around rather than actually volunteer his assistance to reconstruction efforts; he had a tendency to do only the things which might benefit him at some point in time. Just like he'd been able to salvage the memory crystal from the remnant ashes of Paladin's home, he was wandering through Section 1 in hopes of finding other useful objects. But it seemed a fruitless search for the most part
