Eternity tended to wander around rather than actually volunteer his assistance to reconstruction efforts; he had a tendency to do only the things which might benefit him at some point in time. Just like he'd been able to salvage the memory crystal from the remnant ashes of Paladin's home, he was wandering through Section 1 in hopes of finding other useful objects. But it seemed a fruitless search for the most part.

In that manner, he happened along the two and couldn't help feeling somewhat intrigued. After all, there was a small... whitish ball speaking to a rat. But recently it seemed there were many residents accompanied by various animals as of late, and perhaps this little ball was no exception.

He wondered what they talked about as he didn't have one of his own. But he could only guess that the creature was answering in a voice he couldn't hear--maybe others were also unable to hear them. Or maybe it was just very selective.

Eternity wasn't exactly a social type... but intrigue had entirely gotten the better of him.

"... Hello."
