His head tilted slightly, regarding the other man. "Right now we are within the Wilderness. It is an ever-shifting plane inside Edensphere, and has become a shelter for refugees from calamities above. You are lucky, though- it seems we shall be returning within the day or so."
As he spoke he began sorting through the supplies for new arrivals- journal, coins, map, and the like. he was sure they were to come up.

He looked above him and instinctively reached for something at his sides, things that he knew he was without, and yet he couldn't shape just what they were in his mind. He couldn't help but let out a growl of frustration. What was wrong with him?
"What's going on here?" He asked, forgetting about the task of naming himself and instead focusing on the situation at hand. "Something's... I don't know, something's missing and I don't know what the hell is going on!"

As the new arrival asked the question out of frustration, Seraph's lips almost curled upwards into an amused smirk. Almost. There was just something so familiar about being in this potion- allotting information at his whim and waiting for the others to demand it before giving in and complying. Rather than smile, he let out an amused, 'hmph', an eyebrow lifting.
"You only now realize that you have no memories? As I said, your dream shall be your single clue as to who you are." He remained still as he regarded the brown-haired boy. "We all have arrived with no knowledge of ourselves. Nothing to lead or guide us besides our dream and the instinctive reactions to stimuli we do not understand."

He had to admit, that sounded pretty cool.
The look of interested faded, however, when Seraph began to explain the situation. It all sounded so unbelievable, and yet he couldn't deny it. Though he tried to remember something, anything to prove the man wrong, he couldn't recall a single thing about himself. Not his name, what he was doing before all of this... he didn't even know what he looked like. He made a note to check a reflection of himself later.
He stared down at his palms. Maybe he didn't know anything about himself, but there was still the vague sense of familiarity when he first saw Seraph, right? And the fact that he kept reaching for things that he didn't have... He balled his fists as he asked, "We'll regain our memories, right? And even if we don't, we still end up recalling things that we don't even know about. That's something.
"...How many people are here?" He asked as he looked up at Seraph again.

As the boy asked more questions, he seemed to think for a moment. "There are ways. Small crystals can be obtained, and those have the power to restore fragments of memory. As for the population..." Well, this was as good an opportunity as ever. He handed the book to the boy. "You could ask them yourself. I have no exact total, but there are possibly hundreds, with constant new arrivals.
"This journal is connected to all others like it in Edensphere. Writing in one will copy and transmit your message to update all the others, seeing as they are linked. It is a method of communication used here." He spoke simply.
