Everything turned to white.

Wait... Wait!

He opened his eyes, expecting nothing except the blanket of white across his vision, but instead came face to face with...

...green goop?

He sharply drew in a breath and choked; this couldn't have been part of the dream. Where did the child go? He had to find him, ask him what was going on, what the drawing meant... where did that go, anyway?

The feeling of panic welled up in his chest again, and he reached out to try and find a way out of this thing. Sure enough, the answer came to him in a startling fashion - the goop seemed to break around him, and he was forced forward to crash into the floor. Strangely, the impact didn't hurt at all. In fact, it seemed... soft?

He coughed lightly as he stared at the floor beneath him, covered in green. Marshmallows...?

"...Huh?"

He sighed as the hatching fell from the cocoon none too gracefully, stepping forward through the outpouring of cocoon goop and offering the towel. "Welcome to Edensphere. No doubt you have recently experienced a strange dream. Hold fast to it." he explained simply, taking some from Iris's approach to greeting ( ... )

"...What?"

Not the best reply, but it was all he could think of against the onslaught of information. He grabbed the towel as if it were a second thought and wiped away at his face, trying to piece together what the man had said. He had just woken up, after all.

"What do you..." The young man started to say as he lifted his head to finally look at whoever was talking to him. Familiarity. Something in his mind told him to try to remember, to try and figure out why this man gave him a sense of déjà-vu. Yet no matter how hard he tried, it was out of reach. A little frown of frustration came across his face. Maybe if he lowered his head, that nagging feeling in his chest would stop. The older man was probably unnerved by his staring, anyway.

A name, huh... There was fire that had surrounded him. The kid in red... the drawing of him on top of the world.

After a moment, he closed his eyes with a short sigh. Perhaps he was expecting too much. "Here." He simply offered the clothing before stepping back, deciding that he could always continue thinking about the strangely familiar boy later.

"Edensphere," he repeated. "Take some time to get oriented, if you need. I shall explain the world you have just arrived to when you feel you are ready to retain such information." Based on the boy's reactions so far, he may have been a little on the slow side.

Or Seraph was just being extra patronizing in his mind today. No matter.

"Or you could always simply ask questions." He offered. he hated that, though, the new arrivals asking questions that they would have the answer to if only they would listen... but for the more hot-blooded, demanding arrivals it was as good a strategy as any.

"Edensphere..." He repeated to himself as he slowly finished drying himself off. He stayed quiet as he took the clothes that were offered to him and slipped them on, glad to be covered.

As he patted the shirt over his chest, he tried to sort through the thousands of questions through his head. It was hard to pick just one, and he was sure the older man wouldn't appreciate it if he asked them all at once, given the attitude he was showing already. When he looked up at him to ask his first question, what he blurted out wasn't what he intended at all.

"Who are you?"
