Characters: Wolf (lone_w0lf) and OPEN. Date/Time: Mid-afternoon. Location: Section 1 housing Rating: PG-PG-13 Summary: It's been thirty days, and Wolf has begun to change into a werewolf. Possible violence.
As soon as Prongs saw his strange journal entry, he set off for Wolf's apartment. New wand tucked safely in the waistband of his trousers, Prongs approached the house as fast as he could. He was worried for his friend, who had been acting very strangely as of late. For one thing, the older man seemed sick and out of it, and the magician did not know if he had gone to Medical Island to see the doctor yet. Prongs just hoped he could reach his house before anything bad happened to Wolf
( ... )
From his awkward position on the floor, Wolf heard the sound of someone outside yelling and pounding on his door. Then, he heard it open, followed by footsteps, and suddenly there was someone next to him. Glancing upward, he recognized that it was Prongs, one of the few people he had been hoping to see. "Prongs, I.."
That was all he managed to get out before he noticed that his hands were growing larger and claws were beginning to form; it wasn't long before fur started appearing and he began changing shape, into something distinctly animal-like. He tried to say something to Prongs but all that came out was a wordless roar.
Prongs was grabbing at Wolf's shoulders, trying to think of what to do. It was like the man was experiencing some sort of episode, and Prongs knew he had to get him to the Medical Island. "Wolf, calm down we have to-"
And then Wolf started to... change. His limbs seemed to grow longer and thicker, causing his clothing to tear apart from the tension. Hair was also rapidly growing all over his body, and Prongs knew he had seen this before. In his memory... shoot, why didn't he recognize Wolf from his then?! Wolf was the one who transformed into that menacing beast! His name is Wolf for goodness sakes! As soon as Wolf's face began to change, Prongs let go and scooted back along the floor until he hit the side of the room. He was stuck in a tiny room with a potentially dangerous monster, stuck between a rock and a hard place. What could he possibly do to help his friend? He didn't see very much from his memory, but he had a feeling that once Wolf transformed there wouldn't be very much he could do
( ... )
By now, the transformation was almost complete, and now Wolf was barely recognizable as being human. He appeared completely wolf-like and also very dangerous. Prongs' sudden movement away from him alerted his attention, and baring his half-formed fangs, Wolf got down onto his not-quite-yet formed paws and moved slowly towards the young man. In his animal mind, going after Prongs was a better alternative than going after himself.
In response to Prongs' tentative calling out of his name, Wolf growled a low, harsh growl and crawled closer.
He moved quickly, following the scent he had picked up earlier. It was rapidly changing, and that moved him more to urgency. The tree was sure fucked up in his opinion, letting stuff like that in here. It was all over the place.
Rain heard a growl. It wasn't like the ones he usually let slip- this one was not feral. This one had a different quality to it.
He was running flat-out now- all his instincts were telling him there would be blood quite soon. Not that he cared, but he wanted to know what kind of freak they had in the sphere this time.
