Prongs' heart pounded at a mad rate in his chest as the beast neared him. The monster no longer bore any resemblance to his friend; it was now an animal who was hungry and saw Prongs as an early snack. He needed to unfreeze his legs and start get out of there before it was too late.

Just as the wolf was about to lunge for him, Prongs reached for the waistband of his pants and grabbed his wand, whipping it out and pointing it at the monster. "Aguamenti!" Prongs shouted and instantly a large jet of water shot out of the end of his wand and smacked the wolf right in the face, causing it to sputter. For a moment Prongs was astounded, since it was only the second day that he's had the tool and it's already worked better than his staff.

Now that the beast was distracted, Prongs shot to his feet and bounded for the door, hoping he could move faster than the wolf in this tiny space.

Still determined to take a bite out of Prongs, he kept moving forward, until a sudden blast of water hit him squarely in the face. With a surprised and irritated growl, he stopped his movements and pawed at his face in an effort to get the water off.

In the process of being distracted by the water, however, he unintentionally gave Prongs the opportunity to escape, and by the time he had gotten the water out of his eyes, he was standing in an empty room.

Well, that was new. A kid making some kind of technique to hit a wolf- if it was a wolf- in the eyes with. But it was not bad, really. For a kid. Anyway, kids weren't supposed to be fighting big wolfy things that had fangs this big.

Still he shoved past him and found himself locked in a glaring contest against the thing. He grinned. And wondered who'd win in this fight.

"Here doggy, doggy," he uttered in a low voice, almost growling.

Prongs now being out of the way, Wolf's attention was fixed on the other person in the room - a person wearing a taunting grin and saying taunting words.

Wolf let out another growl and moved closer to the other person, ready to jump and attack him because he was presenting a very convenient target.

This would be a battle of animals then. Rain let a growl to match the wolf's, hunching his shoulders and slinking ever so slowly closer and closer to the big thing. He could almost hear its brain's cogs working. Slow bastard. Rain would get him before he even had a chance to bite.

He lunged forward, hands relaxed, but ready to grab and break.
