By whatever miracle or chance, Fugue managed to escape The Wilderness (and the group of people who ganged up on him), rushing for 'safety' on the second floor--The City Without Walls. Because his journal was starting to get really full, he went to the Paper Factory to request a new one when he saw--

--uh, what DID he see?

Because it didn't look human by any stretch of the imagination, and Fugue wasn't used to anything other than humans in Edensphere. It wasn't as if that creature was the only non-human that arrived--there had been others in times past. But recently, there haven't been as many, and Fugue seemed to all but forget it was possible ( ... )

Infinity was also lost, though he would undoubtedly starve to death before admitting it to anyone. His face was set in a slight scowl as he wandered, looking for something familiar that would keep him from having to swallow his pride and actually ask someone where he was. On top of that, he felt oddly naked... as though something important he carried with him was gone.

It still wasn't any less annoying that he couldn't remember anything. At least the clothing suited him well enough - a black, sleeveless top with a high collar and black pants, along with boots. Fair enough. Perhaps some color might be good in the future.

As he walked, Infinity's eyes took in the scenery around him. He noted the passing of people and creatures, and took it all in stride... but something made him just stop.He glanced away and blinked hard a few times, then looked back. No... not his imagination ( ... )

[ooc: I'm going by the 'comment to the main post' format. If that doesn't work, let me know!]

"I arrived several days ago, I think.." Wiggly answered the first question, head-tentacles focusing on the man.

He nearly decided to ignore the other question, but ignoring it wouldn't help anything. "I don't know what I am - an alien, perhaps? Hee! Hee! Hee!" He chuckled, amused by the thought. If he was an alien, then all of these others were aliens as well.

"I am Wiggly. Who are you?"

Fugue gave a slight nod but was ever so slightly unnerved by the head-tentacles that now focused on him. It was... different. Unique. Whenever there was something like that, the 'elder' couldn't help but twitch from the unfamiliarity. Even now, he was honestly just a little shaken up.

"I am Fugue. It is a pleasure, Wiggly." His smile was awkward, as if he didn't do it very often--it even was somewhat strained or forced.

Having noted the other's straightforwardness, he continued, "And you are?"

[ooc/ zomg couldn't resist xD]

Ever since he'd been in Edensphere, Mirror had been absolutely amazed by the wonders of the journals all new arrivals had been given. So, trekking it all the way to the paper factory had been high on his list of things to do, and since Vanilla had mentioned wanting to start up a book store in Edensphere, that just made the matter more pressing. So, that was what Mirror was doing, just strolling down the pathway to the factory without a care in the world.

Of course, when he rounded a corner and came face to face with a rather green, tentacally, and squrimy blob of God knows what he had to quickly turn around, slap himself quick and hard, and then turn back towards the creature. The fact that it was still there did nothing to help his suddenly racing heart and panicky mind. He was all for being different, after all, there were a lot of weird looking things and people in this place, but this... well... this guy took the cake ( ... )
