Now also open to anyone who might be eating an early dinner at The Potato Flower on Jan 5th!
Date/Time: January 4th at 5pm, one hour before Smoke's is due to open; then January 5th starting around 4:30PM

Ghost missed most of the drama on the journals since he decided to take a nap just before everything went down. That turned out to be for the best since anytime Aurora was involved, things usually ended badly. So he was also in a chipper mood as he shuffled in for the evening shift, humming under his breath.

If the sphere was trying to tell him something, clearly his receiver was jammed.

"Smoke my man!" He called out happily as he passed through the doorway, "What's happ'n?"

He was the first one in and amazingly enough, early even. So doomed.

"Working off steam is all," Smoke replied more-or-less cheerfully, "since Aurora's at it again I got all tense, but Sniper looked like he was handling it pretty well so I'm leaving that to him..."

As he took a step back to make sure everything was in place, Smoke nodded and then moved out from around the counter. "And with any luck the newborn's just being new and she'll settle down in a few days."

Standing back a little ways, the hanyou smirked. "In all the excitement I completely forgot to tell you about the competition you won - since I guess you never saw that discussion on your journal entry."

"Yeah. I'm sorta glad I missed most of that." He shook his head as he made his way over to Smoke. "I figure it should be a policy that when Bastet, Scales, Lucy, Blood and Clé are pissed at the same time? The rest of us hide in the closet."

Still smiling, Ghost went and leaned up casually against the bar counter. "Wait, so I won something? Damn I'm awesome! What's my prize and how'd exactly did I do this without even knowing?"

"Fallen was all miffed about looking attractive or not, right? Specifically his butt? So he decided he wanted to compete with you, but since I was the judge and already knew..." Smoke smirked, "I just told him to go to the Hot Springs with me one time and I'd judge it off my memory."

Crossing his arms over his chest, he remembered what he'd jokingly written to Fallen regarding what the prize could be: 'Me?' But he scratched it out since he knew that wasn't something Fallen would see as a 'prize'.

"I told him a week's paid vacation, since I figured that'd be something to get his attention - that we he couldn't back out, you know? Up to you if you want that or something else instead."

It was possible that Smoke could see the mental trip that went on in Ghost head as he processed that. "What? You had a competition about my ASS?!" He paused. "With FALLEN?!" It was all in his face, moving from cocky assurance to shocked realization.

Sadly no one could see the rapid fire processing that was going on in his head, which was swinging from murderous thoughts about Fallen--the hot springs were his and Smoke's damnit--wait what did that mean?--to a gleeful, usually hidden voice shouting 'HE LIKES YOUR ASS, NUMBNUTS!'
