Jan 4 - Smoke informs Ghost that he won a competition he didn't know he was participating in ^^; with Fallen of all people; Ghost kinda gets upset, Smoke is confused, and Kanin wonders what he stumbled into.
Jan 5 - Apparently Ghost is taking Smoke on a date instead of a week off for winning the competition against Fallen. And Smoke has no idea what a 'date' is. XD;

Other than the recent combined mess of Aurora digging his hole deeper as far as Smoke was concerned - and Bastet too, he figured - and the newbie 'Bubbles' chick stomping on toes left and right, it was essentially a normal night for the redhead as far as opening the tavern went. He was expecting the others to show up any time now, but wasn't too worried even if they didn't, because it was a Sunday night and that was the tail end of a weekend and some people - the unfortunate souls - had to do REAL work during the week, like he used to have to do.
Never going back to that life again... this is just fine and dandy, he thought as he came out of the storage room to restock a few bottles for the evening.
Five days ago, a conversation about creativity and bondage had come up in the journals; a few pictures and a few compliments about Ghost's "arse" later, Fallen was challenging Smoke's opinion that Ghost had the better butt, to be resolved that Friday. It had been three days since Smoke's long talk with Sniper and Bastet over Aurora the first time the idiot had gotten under Bastet's skin so bad she came over to the bar and Sniper followed. It had been two days since his 'judgement' of Fallen in the Hot Springs. Yesterday had brought the hilarity of Ghost defending Smoke's manhood to Alexi before the conversation abruptly ended. Then, earlier today, Smoke had gone and defined 'Lovers' for Blood with Ghost's approval.
Clearly the sphere was trying to tell him something.
