The episcleritis persists. My eye doctor refused to prescribe a steroid, because I'm a 'steroid responder', and could get glaucoma. Never mind that they prescribed it every six months for ten years, that it always knocked out the problem in a few days, and that I rarely had an increase in eye pressure. :::Grumph::: That's a pain. Is being a steroid responder something that would come on in life, or is it something you're born with?

I haven't done a lot of study, but it can strike any time. I'm pretty sure it's genetic.
