Edward blinked at the newcomer, then shrugged. "Guess so," he said, then found what looked to be roasted meat, looked around for a plate, and started piling small portions of just about every dish onto it. He avoided the smelly fruit though. finding a seat not too far from the table, he said down on the ground and began to eat.
Wormmon didn't care what the food was or what it was made of. It was food! Anything was better than half-burned leaves. "Finally!" he squealed, wrapping his body around a fruit and digging in. "This is great!"
Jalapenos. The instant he read about them in that dude's poem, he was ecstatic. And covered in chocolate? A bonus.
Reno glanced about the table for the peppers, spotting them beside a worm. The poem hadn't said anything about worms. Well, later, if he was still in the mood, he'd eat it.
"Nyu?" she said quizzically, tilting her head slightly to the side as she watched the creature curled around the fruit. Nyu didn't know what was stranger: it or the food, which only looked like food because other people were eating it. Was it...talking too?
Without considering any aspect of social decorum - what little she knew from watching Kouta - and completely ignoring the redhead (had she seen him somewhere?) Nyu reached out to poke the bug.
Ed, finished with his food sampling, got up for seconds- this time deciding to perhaps take a chance with that strange fruit. Getting up off the ground, he walked towards the table and a pink-haired girl, who was standing by the fruit and poking...a worm? Edward blinked. "Heh, that wasn't there before," he said.
"All right, it's about time," Lina declared, as she hurried to the feast. She didn't really care what was on that table - she had been working almost non-stop, and her physical and magical reserves were nearly at their limits. She was willing to eat anything that didn't look like it would eat her first. "If I got any hungrier, I'd be willing to take a chance on Xellos's cooking - at least I wouldn't die hungry!"
Chii did not need to eat to survive, but she knew mostly everyone else here did. Thus she wanted to gather food for some of her friends. Mostly for Roxas and Gaz as they were the two who she was most concerned about. When she got there, she peered at the food in a confused manner.
"This is... good?" She wondered. And Roxas and Gaz would eat it?
She could smell food a mile away, food, any sort of food. Ammy was a pig at heart, so she wandered into the commons and sniffed around. A feast? It looked like it. Food was all laid out on the table, and she was starving. The odd wolf creature could feel a heap o' drool dripping out of her maw, and caught a wiff of some sort of roasted meat. Having the straight up manners of a wolf, she'd find the nearest meat product and start ripping at it. She didn't care what it tasted like, it was goin in there, even if her belly and tongue didn't exactly like what it was getting. Delicious, to her anyway.
From up on the rooftop, Shadow saw the courses laid out and watched as people began to arrive slowly. He didn't need to eat as often as most, he had been designed to withstand long periods without food, but a growl from his belly reminded him that even he was beginning to starve. Curious, he warped to the ground and skated toward the food, but lingered back for a while, watching to judge the reactions of the others.
Would blink, and raised her skull from the plate of food. A large chunk of meat hung from her jaws, and the goddess' bright eyes stared in the direction of a being that she had never seen the likes of. Tail would twitch lightly along her back, the blackened tip of the wolven creature's tassel waved in the stale air. She did nothing more but watch the hedgehog as it apparently skated on the air towards the food. Besides just having a weirdo stare towards him and that happy flickering tail, she stayed dormant.
Shadow eyed the wolf cautiously, and something ancient and instinctual warned him to stay back, but reason quickly took over. He walked up to her, looking briefly around at the others, and inspecting the food now that he was closer to the table.
"What an odd set of dishes," he remarked, then looked over at the large canine. "Were you the one I talked to over the computer? Or was that a different wolf?"
She raised her head again, and roughly shook her head from side to side. Ammy could speak, just like the other kami in her universe, but she was the only one who liked to remain silent. She hoped she got the message across that his question was a negative by shaking her skull from side to side. Ears perked upwards, and the lengthened skull of the wolf leaned forward to get a good smell of him. Tail continued to flick, acting like nothing more than a big dog, though she was anything but a mundane canine.

"Cheers," he muttered, to no one in particular.

"Actually, no," she said with her mouth full. She swallowed noisily before continuing, "But it sure as heck beats going hungry!"
