A Feast for the Brave
Gather round! Gather round for a feast!
Welcome every man, woman, child, and beast!
Here's the china, there's the silver on the table set.
All the courtesies have been met.
To bring about a cheery mood,
We need only bring out the deary food!
The Jabberwock has been tenderized, seasoned, and roasted.
There's enough elderberry wine to get everyone pleasantly toasted!
The Snark's in the stewpot; the momerath's on the grill.
Is that enough meat for this meal?
Patatje Oorlog will be found at one end.
Oh, will stomachs ever survive and mend?
Far at the other end (for the safety of many a nose)
That is where the sliced durian goes.
For those a little less daring,
Perhaps escargot tis a bit better faring.
And let chocolate covered jalapeno's bring an end.
And everyone should find Alka-Seltzer on their nightstand.
