When Takion awoke, the pain in his head had receded. Whatever Alema had done to him had certainly helped. For the moment, he was content to lie still and listen, enjoying the sound of someone else in the room.
Eventually Takion cracked open his eyes and watched Saetan from the bed. It appeared that Dracula had already been unearthed. But more importantly...
Saetan glanced up from the book - it was stories like these that made people fear Guardians, he had decided, although in some cases those fears were well founded - and smiled fondly.
"Would you like some?" He asked calmly, calling in another cup and pouring some tea as he spoke.
Takion set up slowly, not wanting to do anything to make the pain in his head come back at full force. However, he found the floating tea set much more attention-holding than his own aches and pains. Seeing real magic at work fascinated him.
"Tea would be delightful, dear Saetan," Takion said. He leaned back to rest against the wall, considering picking up something to read himself. He always felt like something was missing when he didn't have a book. "Enjoying Dracula?"
A flick of his finger sent the second tea cup gliding through the air to Takion's hand. Saetan was relieved to see he seemed to be feeling better; no matter what Alema claimed to have done, he had still been worried about Takion. He would have done something to help himself, but he had almost no healing Craft at his disposal.
"Yes, it's very interesting," He replied. "Vampires in your world do seem very similar to Guardians, with the exception of the fear of religious symbols. And we generally don't drain all the blood from a victim. I've known demons who will, though.' He added, thinking of Hekatah.
