Siegfried sat at the desk in his room. The glasses he only admitted to with Pegasus were perched on his nose as he jotted down notes about the technology he'd seen in Econtra. Not trusting the Keepers, Siegfried kept all of his files hand-written. It would be too easy for anyone to spy out his theories if they were stored electronically. Perhaps no one would care, but a dash of paranoia felt warranted anyway.

Besides, Siegfried doubted that he'd be allowed to take the PDA home with him. He might, however, be allowed to take his files, and from them he hoped to be able to replicate the PDA technology. The devices were too efficient to not try to market.

Pegasus couldn't help but smile as he walked into the room and found Siegfried hard at work. No matter how much Siegfried protested that it wasn't true, Pegasus thought Siegfried's glasses were cute. Of course, there really wasn't much about him that Pegasus didn't find attractive in some way...

"I thought you could use a cup of tea to fuel your mental processes," he said, placing the cup at Siegfried's elbow.

"Danke," Siegfried responded absently while he tried to figure out how to duplicate the PDA's processor speed with the technology he was already familiar with. Not an easy feat. He'd been able to do nearly as much with the handheld device as he had with computers back home, and the PDA hadn't shown any signs of being close to overheating.

Lost in thought, Siegfried picked up the cup and took a dainty sip. Pegasus always was so considerate of him. Siegfried wasn't sure what he'd done so right in his life to deserve Pegasus, but he was glad he'd done it.

Having completed his errand, Pegasus still felt no inclination to go do anything else. Instead, he lingered, pretending to glance at Siegfried's work over his shoulder, but really just enjoying being near him. Without really thinking about it, he let one hand twine though Siegfried's silky hair, stirring up the scent of roses that always followed him.

"I couldn't let my precious flower wilt because no one was attending to him," he murmured.
