Noticing the green haired girl dissappear, she shrugged. "I really don't know... Was she a friend of yours?"

"I don't think, little one, he was talking about you." Sephiroth murmured absently as he followed Lelouch's gaze down at the footprints in the snow. It would not be the first time he had seen bodies make such disappearances--monsters in the field, for example, sometimes appeared as if to melt into the air and grass immediately upon death. But the green-haired girl had not been harmed in the slightest... there had been no death.
No, Sephiroth had the curious impression that this is what happened when people simply disappeared from Econtra, as abruptly as when they were brought.
Alas. So passed their (dubious) mediator. And he without any great deal more knowledge about this unstable stranger than when he'd first startled him in the alley. It was a pity. Know thy enemy was as good as a cardinal rule of any warrior so far as Sephiroth was concerned ( ... )

Noticing his offer for a spar, she gave a small smile and stood up, limping a bit of her stiff injured leg.
"All right! It's been a while since I went. I need the practice for when I will need it!"
Although she lacked power, Elena's agility, flexibility and reaction response were the keys to her success as a fighter, even though she didn't look like the part , with her petite, skinny frame, and yet to develop curves.
Judging from his skinny frame, he didn't seem like much a fighter too.
She got into postion. "Ok, let's do this!"

"I meant 'able-bodied' to encompass those with skill of some sort. But that comes only of my own observations rather than through any intimate knowledge with the authority. I don't take well with those who believe they can control me."
But would he have preferred to return to the Planet? After all, in his own world, he had been dead.
"As you will," he added finally, leveling his sword at the stranger. He was wary, and this seemed the exact opposite of a good idea, but... well. What better did he enjoy than a challenge?
