Gaz sensed her only a second later. She was impressed by the aura: it was full of energy, and the wrath there was one that was close to her own: it seemed she was not the only one that had been done wrong. She had a thin smile on her face then, and turned slowly to see the person who owned it ( ... )

"Yeah well, he got me from behind period," Gaz said. "I never even met him. I even saw that Quatre gave a warning not to attack this guy. Well, as much as I wanna comply with Alliance orders, they don't extend to my ass being buried in the ground and left there. So first thing that happens is we find this punk. I don't like being threatened with violence either. I mean, we're all young, but I'm, like, a kid. There's just something totally wrong with burying kids, let alone people in general, in coffins."

Gaz smiled. "My kinda fight, to the front. I dunno, didn't feel much like waiting for the go ahead from the others, did you? These are one of those time you bring the fight to the guy that jumped you. I know there were a few others involved, and Joker's gotta be one of them in on it. I'll go to visit that guy too."

((I'll just start a new thread for when you guys are readying for him. That way ya'll can continue the other one, too, if wanted.))

Fontaine, for now, was near the outskirts of buildings near the southern end of the compound. He could see the greenhouse from where he stood in the shadows of the buildings he rested in. His eyes were half closed, but that was a deceiving expression at best. He was completely aware of his current surroundings to a tee.

It was an area people hardly ever, if ever, traversed. It was behind all the buildings, off the road, and pretty much lifeless and devoid of anything except the Obex's towering wall not too far away. And it was also opposite most of the places Fontaine had nabbed anyone from. Not that the criminal ever stayed in one place for long right now, and heaven forbid he was ever stupid enough to head back to his apartment. He didn't want to have to 'tango' with that stupid, mopey roommate of his if the cyborg caught on ( ... )

Gaz felt him, and her eyes, which were perfectly closed at first, now opened, and her look was nothing but serious. She looked at Selphie and motioned to her to come quietly, because she had no intention of losing him. In another life, it was possible Gaz could have been a great hunter and tracker: her moves could be quiet and quick, and detecting her was quite hard to do. Since Gaz found such a hobby stupid and demeaning to animals, so it was not a future for her. However, going after people she intended to make pay was certainly within her means, and she wanted to make use of it now ( ... )

Fontaine's first reaction was naturally enough to dodge whatever it was coming at him. He pushed off the wall with a strong, swift movement and began to weave and twirl with a flexibility and grace that belied his large stature. He was quite adequate in dodging the vine-like objects trying to wrap themselves around him, but the effort could last only so long before their relentless grasps twined around one of his limbs and halted his movement. Without full range of his motions the rest was inevitable: with a quickness that startled the Rapturite into silence only punctuated by one hard grunt, he was caught and held firmly in their tight grip ( ... )
