Fayt was a little worried. No, make that really worried, even though he tried not to show it. Reassigning his friends seemed like a bad idea. Sheifa was clearly not pleased, and Jing... well, he was a little upset, somewhat, by the news. The communications team is a disaster waiting to happen, the blue-haired boy thought, wincing. Forget having Maria and Sheifa in the same team - having Jing under Maria's command was seemingly worse.

So he decided to pay his friend a visit. Just how was Jing taking this? Thinking of the possible answers, however, only made Fayt even more nervous.

He knocked.

Jing was a little surprised at the knock, getting up and leaving the messenger where it sat on the couch. When he opened the door he was even more surprised to find Fayt there.

"Come in," he said earnestly, because the hallway was fairly cold. "What're you doing here? Is everything okay?"

"Thanks," Fayt said, accepting Jing's offer and coming inside. He hesitated for a moment, but then finally said, "As fine as it could get. Just thought I'd take a break and drop by."

He smiled wryly. "I bet Maria's started giving orders?" Oh yeah, he sure noticed how happy she was at being reassigned.

Jing returned to the couch and settled, gesturing for Fayt to do the same. "Things don't seem to be going badly," he ventured, when Fayt said things were fine. "I don't doubt you'd need a break, though... you're doing more work than anyone else."

The thief's gaze grew slightly reserved. "Well, there was something about making up secret code names," he admitted. "Not much beyond that. Yet."
