Siegfried remained blissfully unaware of Pegasus's culinary exploits. He had settled himself by a window with a blanket wrapped around his shoulders. As long as he remained inside and warm, the snow didn't bother him. And the blanket of chilly whiteness outside reminded Siegfried of home. If the snows had fallen at home, no doubt Leon would be outside doing whatever one supposedly did for fun

Siegfried promptly added being curled next to Pegasus to his thoughts. "An excellent idea. I abandoned a perfectly good blanket to come in here, and would love to get back to it."

"Well, I'd hate to make you miss out on such an important appointment," said Pegasus seriously. "Is it a private meeting, or have you got room for one more?"

"I think room can be made for you," assured Siegfried. "It will be nice, I think. You, me, mulled wine, the blanket, and the opportunity to work on coding for a spreadsheet program."

Pegasus laughed. "All the makings of a perfect day, is that it? If it's all the same to you, I think I'll pass on the spreadsheet."

"Oh come now. The spreadsheet is the best part," Siegfried insisted.

"So you say," said Pegasus. "I think I may just stick with my sketchbook."

Feeling a bit risque, and unable to resist any opportunity to tease Pegasus, Siegfried responded lightly with, "You've never disagreed before. I was under the impression that you rather liked being spread out on the sheet."

Pegasus raised an eyebrow. "Well, well, well. You are feeling playful today. It should snow more often around here if this is how it affects you."

Siegfried laughed at that. "I expect it is more the wine than the snow at this point. There is more when we finish, ja?"

"More wine, and more snow, too," said Pegasus. "Though considering that most of the alcohol has probably been cooked out of this, you might do better to blame the snow. Or just admit that you're really a hedonist, deep down."

"I do not deny that I enjoy pleasure," Siegfried conceded with a wry smile.

"How fortunate for me," said Pegasus. He leaned closer to give Siegfried a kiss that was still faintly flavored of fruit and spices from the sweet drink.

"Fortunate for us both," Siegfried murmured as that delicious kiss ended all too soon. "Although, if you would truly prefer to create art now, we can save the other for later."

"Hmm..." Pegasus considered his options, trailing his free hand through Siegfried's hair as he thought. "We should probably finish our drinks first, before we give attention to, ah... spreadsheet applications."

Siegfried smiled as he allowed Pegasus to touch his precious hair. Anyone but Pegasus would have likely had their hand ripped off and fed to them for taking such liberties. But Siegfried conceded that one's lover was a special case. "An Excel-lent idea," punned Siegfried.
