After making some sandwiches, Mercury packaged them up and left her apartment once again. Seemed today was keeping her busy, not that she minded. The woman she had spoken to on the device... Another victim of Econtra's miniature comas. Mercury was a bit concerned about them, but people seemed to be fine afterward, usually.

It didn't take the princess long to find the cafe, her form in a more 'winter' dress and coat, even though she didn't get cold. Upon seeing the blonde woman, she smiled and gave a curtsy. "Good evening," she greeted, "You're the woman I spoke to on the communicator, I presume?" She set the sandwiches down on a table, approaching the blonde. "My name is Mercury," she introduced, blinking as she realized something, tilting her head, "You are without a coat, miss?"

"Yeah," Rose replied, smiling a friendly welcome at the other woman in turn. "I'm Rose. Rose Tyler." She gestured to the coffee pot she'd retrieved, empty still, and offered, "D'you want some coffee? I was about to put a pot on."

Her expression dampened to mild chagrin, and she shifted her shoulders in a shrug. "I've got that," she assured, tipping her chin in the direction of her fall-weight jacket, set neatly off to the side. "And some warm clothes. I've plans to go digging about for something warmer, before it gets too bad." She was not, she was sure, the only one in that particular predicament. The image of a pack of Econtrans decked out in repurposed quilts made the corners of her mouth twitch a little in humour.

"I would like some," she said with a nod, "Thank you." She usually wasn't one for hot drinks (for obvious reasons), but she figured the deep cold could balance it out.

She took note of the woman's coat and nodded. "Duly noted," replied Mercury with a smile, "I guess it's still a bit baffling to me, how people are so affected by cold. Then again, heat threatens to be the death of me, sometimes, so I suppose it's just a reverse situation." She chuckled faintly, observing how Rose made the coffee for later reference.

Rose rattled about the familiar process of setting coffee to brewing, making mental notes as she went so she could recall what various shelves and cupboards held for future reference.

"Probably, yeah," she agreed amiably, though she gave Mercury a faintly quizzical look. "It doesn't help that most of us seem to be from warmer areas, too. At least listening to the communicators, with those who'll talk about it. So there's getting used to the weather, on top of just...not dealing quite so well with the cold."
