Ahiru was less worried about the aliens overhead and more worried about her tummy. They hadn't done anything to really bother her since that big nightmare they'd given everyone. As long as they were just an ominous presence overhead, Ahiru could ignore them. Although she did wonder a little what would happen if she tried waving to one.

Ahiru's stomach growled again, reminding her of her mission. She promptly started peering into windows, and looking for anyplace that might be a bakery. Mr. Ono had promised her bread a while back and she wanted to find him and see if he had any.

Oh, this young girl was rather adorable. Immediately, the apology died in her throat as images of clothe and patterns that put stars in her eyes. She let out a tiny sound of absolute pleasure before moving to make her presence known to the girl who seemed more interested in window shopping. "Hello~ I'm sorry for bumping into you! You are absolutely adorable!! May I have your name?"

Ahiru hadn't expected anyone to cross her path while she searched for a bakery. But she decided that this person seemed nice enough. If she wasn't nice, Ahiru trusted Achmed would come rescue her. Giving a little curtsey, she answered the question. "My name's Ahiru. It's nice to meet you!"

Well, depends on your definition of nice. If you call being dressed in cute outfits for hours on end and squeeing over someone nice, then be my guest. Tomoyo clasped her face in both hands and giggled as the other gave a little curtsy, unable to control herself. "A pleasure Ahiru-chan~♥" Oh she was floating now. "My name is Tomoyo!"

Who could have understood the war, really? This was not their battle to fight---yet they had been plucked and brought here, shoved towards a destiny that was not theirs, either. This idea of a forced future did not sit well with Yuusei, and it troubled her even now. Though it was only one of the many things which she ruminated on these days.

Coming to a corner, she pulled her jacket just a bit closer to her body. It was getting colder, every day...Then she noticed a certain girl who, despite her age and stature, seemed to carry a certain air of calm authority around her. Yuusei could not help but wonder if she had run across royalty in this place---it really would not have surprised her.

Royalty had a certain air, Tomoyo knew of this. But now she was in Econtra, and she was sure such an air would have stopped becoming so obvious after a long while. After all, she was not a princess anymore. She was just another person here who happened to be pulled into a pointless war which made no sense. Tomoyo was still lost in her thoughts, and so nearly walked straight into this stranger who came out of no where. She turned in time to thankfully only bump them, and then paused all the way to turn her troubled gaze into something a bit more... apologetic. "Forgive me. I wasn't paying attention to where I was going!"

Airs, though, really had no place in a scourged, seemingly post-apocalyptic place in which all ranks and authority had become meaningless. Without a structure among the people, blood would not have made a difference. She just had a certain keenness in judgment that was wrought by times spent in places where knowing how to read people was probably the only way to stay alive.

Yuusei, who had detected a probable collision, only had a bit of shuffling to do to regain her posture. She looked over the girl, silent for a time.

"You might want to pay attention, then," she began quietly. "This isn't a place to let your guard down."

Yes, this stranger was right. She shouldn't be wondering around so distracted. It was a bit hard though when one had so much to worry about. "You're right," she finally decided to respond, "but there is a lot to think about." And being the kind of person who had thoughts racing, she could only hope a walk would be the best way to let her thoughts find the solutions around the obstacles in her mind. She looked over the other and smiled slightly.
