The Princess could not have been more excited. FINALLY, someone who might understand her. Someone who could help her take a place and make it her own. Or thier own. Or whatever. She didn't really care. All she wanted was control. Control over something, -anything-.

She needed to feel power at her fingertips.

With the need for power and the taste of it on her lips she waited in the Church Rectory for signs of The Joker come to visit her. As she paced the room she heard large, long, wandering footsteps in the distance. It was either the idiot who lived upstairs or The Joker. She chanced it and left towards the noise.

The Princess entered into the room full of long endless chairs and looked about her.

And, ah, there he was.

She grinned wickedly to herself, watched, and waited for him to notice her.

It took hardly a moment for the Joker to notice that a silent but tangible presence had joined him in the vast space and he turned to it with his ghastly, painted visage. Stepping down from the pulpit, he jumped a bench and strode down the center of the isle, arms extended in greeting.

"Good evening, good evening. You must be The Princess," he enunciated grandly, voice reverberating throughout the room.

Not having known Helena from anything more than a couple passing conversations over the PDA network, he had no idea just who this really was. Was it the Princess of Shadows or had Helena simply slipped into madness? In the end it didn't matter - her dark eyes held a true gleam of wickedness.

The Joker paused before her, took a deceitfully foppish bow, and extended his hand to daintily take hers. "Don't be afraid to tell me your sins."

The Princess was not truly startled when she saw the man in front of her turn towards her and leap a bench to get to her. Neither was she startled by the shear awe and madness that seemed to encompass this man. No, as a matter of fact, she was all giddy with anticipation and curiousity ( ... )

Of course, there was no time in this world for either of them to finish confessing their sins. But if one didn't believe in morals to begin with, could there be any sins to confess at all? Taking her offered hand, the Joker pulled himself closer, close enough to make a normal person uneasy, and peered with feral curiosity into the black diamond depths of her eyes, spying his own image mirrored to dark perfection. As the princess demystified herself, he released her hand and circled her once counterclockwise, once clockwise, returning to his point of origin in time to meet her smile.

"Clear as crystal," he answered with a grin of his own. If Helena and the princess could trade places so easily and unexpectedly, there would be no telling when the next switch would occur. "Now where were we? I know-- You were going to define, in visual terms, your idea of fun. I'm ready when you are..." Ready to dodge as well in the instance that her definition of fun involved his mortality like some others' in the city did.

The Princess showed little surprise at there being another person in the room, but just enough that the others [if they were looking] could tell she was a bit surprised. But the fact that the Joker showed none whatsoever gave her confidence so she played along moving to the other side of the Doctor opposite the direction the Joker was headed in ( ... )

"About hmmm.... All the time," an amused glance cast itself towards the Princess, though the Doctor kept his hands tucked securely in the pockets of his pants. "Head's always full, crammed, chock up to my eyeballs, but it's a nice feeling. Better than being all blank and empty, woo, been there, never again. By the way, Princess. Do you make a habit of going about looking like you've broken into your mum's makeup drawer - the two of you, or is it just the latest thing? I'm afraid I'm not much for fads. Kids, you know, and I've never had the time to stay caught up with them ( ... )

[ooc: Since we lost our 10th Doc, I'll just go ahead and continue this here.]

Sidling up behind the Princess, he rested his hands on the halfway point of her arms between shoulder and elbow - "Show me to her room, I want to see something."

Then he proceeded to steer her past their tagger-along Doctor, giving the man an expression of pointed boredom as they passed, tongue flicking over his top front teeth with a derisive chirp of suction. "Night, Doc."

Perhaps they'd 'play' with him later if he was still around, but for now his presence was more of a distraction than anything else and time was a-wasting.

The Princess grinned as the Joker came up behind her gripping her arms. She quietly cooed her acquiescence. When he began pushing her forward past The Doctor she laughed a deep throaty laugh filled with all the evil intentions that was in The Princess' heart. As they passed the Doctor she winked at him.

As they began to exit the room The Princess slid out of the Joker's grip and took him by the arm. "This way." She said teasingly. "I'm glad you brought it up, actually. I have something to show you as well ( ... )
