Characters: Ickis [OU], OPEN
Where: The Park
When: Evening, twilight
Summary: Ickis decides to try and gain control over his family's Looming ability since, if he runs into trouble, he might be able to use it to scare it off...assuming he doesn't just freak like he normally does.
Warnings: As always, Ickis is a spazz. Also, his Loomed form is actually quite impressive and fairly scary so feel free to be scared or startled by him. Or panic the heck out of him by any means necessary. Whatever floats your boat. :D
Ickis wasn't one for the great outdoors, his kind preferring the foulest places imaginable, but the park did have an advantage over other areas of the compound: It had room and lots of it. So he'd filled his air sac with the sewer's noxious fumes and gone out into the fresh air.
The reason? He was a monster. Monsters scared humans. Slickis, his father, was one particularly terrifying creature, helping end the Era of Disbelief.
Ickis? Well...he wasn't the most impressive member of the species.
Still, getting Looming down might help fix that problem. And with the cuffs off, it probably would be no bad thing if he could get a handle on it. Not to use against a human physically--though even as himself his claws would've done considerable damage--but to frighten off threats.
He took a deep breath and started breathing shallowly. He involuntarily let out growls and snarls as his fangs started growing. His eyes burned as they turned red. His body began to grow, his enlarging feet starting to displace the plants and rocks around them.
Almost...almost...!
